A real ''shit show'' with this post.
I found a ziplock baggie full of CDr's in the basement of my house, left behind by a former house mate. They are all fucked: scratched up & hella dirty. I set Exact Audio Copy software to rip these to .wav format as fast as possible (as opposed to as accurate as possible) then converted to 320 K/s .mp3. I have to assume these are absolute trans codes with most likely glitches & skips. I dunno cuz I haven't listened to all the tracks.
A mystery herein lieth!
For me, this makes for an interesting post. I have more strange collections of music that I have found / stumbled across and saved for future rips/ posting. This blog, in the past under a different name, became extremely visited & "popular" (in my opinion) which had a detrimental effect on my mindset. I changed the name and made it private for a while only allowing folks who made contact me or whom I admired have access. All the traffic went away and I've made it public again some time ago.
I am no one to tell others what to do & am very much in favor of autonomy but I have and will allows resist the normal, main stream, popular, egocentric culture of self importance.
Please enjoy the rich library of sound throughout the bowels of the blog. I prefer not to be linked or promoted on a larger scale. I have been intentionally trying to post music/ sounds that I believe to be unpopular to mass appeal.
