Directed and co-written by Lucio Fulci, the film is about a psychopathic knife-wielding killer that sports a grotesque duck voice. It was originally released in 1982, but was banned in many countries because of its gratuitous violences and nudity. The score of the film was done by the Italian composer Francesco De Masi, combining elements of disco funk and Latin music. De Masi manage to capture the sleazy pre-Disney clean up of New York perfectly with the use of moody sax breaks and a 42nd street atmosphere. The LP comes pressed on 180-gram green & yellow duck vinyl house in a heavyweight casebound tip-on Jacket. The LP also includes a poster and 4 page booklet with exclusive liner notes by Stephen Thrower and Nick Percival.
